Bosch Dishwasher Flashing Red Light - Won't Start

Hey everyone, I have a Bosch dishwasher that suddenly shows a flashing red light on the floor, but nothing happens when I try to start a cycle. It's a newer 500 Series model. I've checked the door and tried powering it off, but still no luck. Anyone know what the blinking red light on a Bosch dishwasher actually means? Is it a lock? Error? Appreciate any help or real experiences

A flashing red light on a Bosch dishwasher usually means the door isn't closed properly.

The red light is the 'InfoLight' - it should be solid. Flashing often means it's paused or not latched.

Try pressing Start again after firmly closing the door - that fixed it on my 500 Series.

@start_press_paul Did tons of research and chose the 500 Series over the 800. Only thing missing is CrystalDry, but I don’t mind.

If the red light keeps blinking, cut power for 2 minutes to reset the control board.
